The last few months have been busy for us. We have been working on Blind Victoria to get her into shape to sail. I have been learning the ins and outs of the whole boat.

Several sponsors have joined us and I would like to thank them. ePaint has donated bottom paint. CapeHorn is giving a great discount on windvane self-steering gear. Maratron has given a deep discount on instruments.

Last weekend I attended the Miami boat show and had great success. I made many contacts that will help the Blind Circumnavigation. I found some more potential sponsors and was able to get contacts for others. I feel this was the most successful show I’ve been to. I also helped Seven Seas Cruising Association and Shake-a-leg Miami with their exhibits at the show.

We are currently looking for an electronics engineer to work on adaptive equipment for the circumnavigation. If you know of anyone please contact me. Also contact me if you are interested in sponsoring the Blind Circumnavigation.
